Originally born in England, I came to America in 1985 and became a US citizen in 2000. My affinity for the Naval services comes from my father serving on a British destroyer in the mid to late 1940s and into the early 1950s. Also early in my career I worked at the British Ministry of Defence for the Royal Navy in England. I became aware of the Sea Cadets through the Navy League and came aboard as a web site administrator in 2004. I currently run my own small web development firm (Blue Larch LLC http://www.bluelarch.com) after many years in the corporate and consulting worlds of Information Technology in both developer and management positions.
